This policy explains how A V A INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK SERVICES CO. L.L.C processes personal data for the BidFix service in the United Arab Emirates, including under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) where it applies. Using the Service is also subject to the Terms of Use.

These pages describe how BidFix works today. They may be updated and are not legal advice.

2. Data we use

• Account: name, email, phone, login method, professional profile.
• Jobs: description, photos, area, schedule, budget, and the exact address stored privately.
• Offers, bookings, reviews and in-app chat (including file attachments you send).
• Provider admission: identity information, professional or business licence information, verification documents, and relevant trade credentials that you choose to submit.
• Device and log data needed to run and secure the site.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run a background check unless that check is separately described and actually performed.

3. Why we use it

• to create accounts and show you the right cabinet;
• to publish jobs to matching professionals and deliver offers;
• to keep exact addresses hidden from bidders and reveal them only to the booked Provider;
• to operate chat, bookings and reviews;
• to review provider admission and eligibility to use provider features;
• to prevent fraud and spam;
• to meet UAE legal duties.

4. Who sees what

• Professionals see a job’s public area, not the villa/unit, until they are booked and the Customer shares the address.
• Chat is visible to the two participants of that job thread.
• Reviews you publish are visible to other users.
• Customers see only the check badges that BidFix has actually completed (for example Profile reviewed, Identity checked, Business licence checked). They do not see Emirates ID numbers, licence copies, passport details or other verification documents.
• Verification documents are available only to authorised BidFix operators.
• Processors: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), authentication, and email delivery for password reset.

5. Retention

We keep account, booking and admission records while the account is open and for a reasonable period after for disputes and UAE record-keeping. You may ask us to delete an account via Support.

6. Your rights

Subject to PDPL and other applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data. Password reset is available from the sign-in page.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session and security.
